Yay, Tali! I'd make a witty game reference, but it's been too long since I've played Mass Effect. I need to brush up on it before I play the sequel, however, then get started on drawing moar Mass Effect ladies =O This one was from a few months ago.
That does it, I'm buying Mass Effect 2 tomorrow! I've wanted it for a couple weeks and have been seeing pictures and videos of it everywhere (by chance). Now that that's out of the way, I really like this pic. I've seen videos of this alien girl in ME2 and she's probably my favorite girl character.
Oh no Tali! What did you do to that wonderful figure of yours?? You know come to think of it, there werent any overweight characters. Or underweight for that matter. Youd think since Joker never leaves his chair he might be a bit bigger, but somehow he maintains that fit bod. Must be some futuristic drug that keeps everyone in shape
The main crew, yes. But what about all the civilians? The people sitting at the bar having a drink? The colonists on Feros? And even if their metabolisms arent like ours, Im sure even aliens would have some sort of disfiguring problem. None of the characters have lisps or anything either...
Yes. Ambassador Udina would have made a great Harkonnen.
I agree; It's the 22nd century. I sincerely doubt we'd have the resources or even the willingness to research technology to make everyone an underwear model. Even with discovery of mass relays, 24 years (I think thats the amount of time after discovery that the game takes place) is pushing it for aliens to make every human in perfect shape, unless that was some top priority (which it seems to be.)
Anyway, great art here! I would not have minded this Tali being in my storyline
I think the current Tali is fine It wouldnt be top priority for aliens to make us look beautiful, but look at all the anti aging, anti weight, anti "ugly" pills, diets, cremes, etc we already have. By then who knows what sort of horrible "norm" will be all the rage, and what miracle drug will be available to get you there. Apparently fit bods and tight space suits are the fashion in that future. Personally, I think Thane had the right idea.
I'll take em both if I can Well yeah, we do have all those products. But then again look at how many overweight, obese, and even hyper-obese people we have? I think we're a lot closer to the WALL-E future. Ah well. If the only thing to complain about in the game are characters being in shape, I guess I can't complain much... But I'm still going to! Mwahaha.
